زیستگاه: آسیا (جنوب شرق)
اندازه: حدودا نرها به 20 تا 25 سانتی متر میرسند و ماده 30 سانتی متر می شوند
رفتار: صلح جو
سطح شنا: کف
PH: 6-- 7.5
دمای آب: 20 - 24 C می شود آن را در دمای بالاتر نیز نگهداری کرد به شرطی که اکسیژن آب زیاد باید یعنی 8میلیگرم در هر لیتر آب

سختی آب : 1 تا 12 dh
حجم مخزن: حداقل در مخزن 255لیتری باید نگهداری شود
تغذیه: گوشت خوار
طول عمر : 5
تکثیر: تخم گذار ولی تا کنون در آکواریوم تکثیر نشده است
فعالیت : شب کار
تشخیص جنسیت: معمولا نرها کوچکتر و لاغر تر از ماده ها هستند و ماده ها بزرگتر تقریبا 2برابر نرها هستند
مراقبت: اکسیژن آب باید بالا باشد
